Coach Profile
Wiande Kher completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, General Management at Mount Royal University, in Calgary Alberta. After graduating in 2019, he has worked for multiple Insurance companies in the Claims Department.
During his playing career, Wiande was a team player and stretched the floor with his shooting and never backed down from his defensive assignment.
Wiande began his coaching journey in 2024 as an Assistant Coach at the U14 level, where he quickly developed a strong passion for teaching the game. By Spring 2025, he advanced into a Head Coach role with a U15 team while also serving as an Assistant Coach at the U16 AAU level.
Learn to Train certified through the Ontario Basketball Association, Wiande is committed not only to player development on the court, but also to mentorship off the court. He takes pride in helping young athletes grow as disciplined, confident individuals while building their skills to compete effectively on both ends of the floor.
For the 2025–2026 season, Wiande joins our school as an Assistant Coach with the Senior Team, bringing his work ethic, mentorship mindset, and dedication to elevating the student-athlete experience.
